Excellent soup
This Big soup tastes great, full of big chunks of vegetables & suitable for vegans. It's very thick & filling but a bit pricey & sometimes hard to find. Prices can vary from about £1.10 to over £2 per can so look around to find the best price you can. If you're prepared to pay extra then this soup cannot be beaten for quality. If only it was easier to find at a cheaper rate it would get the full 5 stars. But, then again, when you find something you like & if you can afford it then there's no argument to be had - just buy & enjoy it, life is sometimes too short not to.

A meal in a tin
I like to keep these in the cupboard for those occasions when I can't be bothered to cook, or when I've run out of proper food. They don't taste bad, especially when you add lots of ketchup and some bread and butter.

It is no longer a BIG SOUP; too runny
Discovered the Heinz Big Soup range just over a year ago. Thought the soups were superb and consequently, my wife and I consume 4 cans between us each day. My wife has Parkinsons, and swallowing is a problem, however she found the range of Big Soups’ easy to eat, and I loved it for both the taste, and fact that you could recognise the ingredients in the soup. Heinz offer enough varieties, Lamb, Beef, Steak, Chicken, which meant we did not tire of having soup each day. About 4 months ago I noticed the Chicken and Vegetable was “runny” and thought I had just been unfortunate and purchased a rogue batch. Reseller permitting we buy the soup in batches of 12 cans or more for each variety. Recently we have noticed this “runny” texture has spread into other soups in the Big Soup range. Its difficult to appreciate the negative transformation this soup brand has taken in just a few months. I no longer find it palatable and I am searching for an alternative brand.
