Took a minute to practice the mode button and discover all the light tones. Need to say I bought a smaller light for my 40g tank because my angels do not seem to like the super bright lights. I get a nice ambiance with this light. The last choice on the mode button will rotate colors every few minutes. This is very soothing. It is a nice price, well made, easy to set up and convenient having the remote attached to the wiring. Packaged well and arrived quickly. The width of the light is larger than I expected but I don’t see it as a con, and the amount of settings and customization it has is great for the cost. If there are things about it that I can I’m not agreeable with is that the 8 am time on the 24/7 cycle is strangely yellow and at the normal setting, I think the dimmest light could be more dim. I also can’t say anything about how it works with aquatic plants, as the plants I have in this tank are mostly slow-growing anubias species.The first picture is the lowest brightness setting and the second picture is at it’s highest. I wouldn’t say that the pictures are a 1:1 of how bright or dim they are in real life, and I believe the brightest setting is definitely more bright in person.My favorite thing about it is the transition between light settings and turning it on/off.
