Secondly, the reviews are really messed up. Some say they fit; others say they don't fit. Well, I am a medium size 8. Always have been; always will be. I ordered an 8. NOPE, too small in toe box and way too narrow. I then ordered an 8.5, and they are too long but still too narrow. Even leather sole inserts don't help. They just make the shoe tighter on the sides but not in the heel. The heels rode up on this second pair, and I can feel my toe hitting the toe box still in the larger size. What the heck! Clarke's needs to get its sizing back to where it used to be -- and be consistent! I've owned many pair of size 8 Clarke's. This is the LAST pair I'll buy!
