After going three times with no luck, we had no idea how to handle her anxiety. Since I was tutoring her in reading, I thought of getting her a book to help her overcome her fear and when I saw the Berenstain Bears I was delighted! This book series was my FAVORITE when I was learning how to read and I remember reading these books to my parents. I purchased this book and gifted it and I am happy to report she had her first (successful) trip to the dentist just a few weeks after she read the book, X-rays and a cleaning!
