These ring, batteries stay charged for a long time, but they do get old when they get old. You need a new one better to have two than one. Thankful that they’re easy to find on Amazon and you get them overnight sometimes.

The battery is much cheaper than the Ring battery, but it works the same. We are a couple month into the usage and it discharges at the rate i would expect

I bought the Ring Spotlight Cam Battery Plus, which comes with 1 battery recently. After having it up for a few days, I decided to get a second battery. I was gonna go with the brand name but when I saw the price of this one and the pretty good reviews, I decided to try it. After fully charging it and placing in the spotlight camera, the Ring battery went dead. So, I went out to the garage/shed, got the stepladder, took out the Ring battery, and started charging it. Since this off-brand battery has been registering 99% or so for the past few days, I thought I was good. But when I looked at the Ring app, it said "Add a Battery" for both slots. I thought that maybe the battery should be in the other slot so I moved it. Nope. I think I'm gonna have to buy the Ring battery. This one keeps showing 97% in the Ring app, and then "Add a Battery". Then, back to 97%, and so on. Maybe I got a fluke. But it'll have to do the job (kinda) until I get a Ring-branded battery.

I purchased this to replace the one in a Ring doorbell. I bought a Renewed ring doorbell, but the battery in it never held a charge well. This one works great.
