D-Link DUB-E100 High-Speed USB 2.0 Fast Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet Adapter , Black

I have bought many USB Ethernet Adapters over the years - which says it all really. So I decided to buy a well-known brand and I was not disappointed. This is not the slimmest or lightest of products - it is an older model (there is a newer model on Amazon). It does work with Windows 7. As it is an older product it does not come with Windows 7 drivers, however, due to it being a D-Link product there is great online support for you to download the updated drivers (you can install a Windows XP driver that comes on the disc which will work to get you online to update the driver). After using the product for a month or so I noticed the blue screen of death appearing in Windows 7 and so I looked at the Windows updates and there was an updated driver there for this product - so it is well supported. After installing the updated driver there has been no problems. Would recommend this if you are just looking for a basic adapter with good online driver support for good value.

Bought this to connect to Audi MMI. Be aware that you may need to change the EPROM slightly (to refeclt rev .c) as I did to establish a telnet connection.

Fantastic bit of kit. Used this for an ethical hacking exam (CREST) for a certain part of the exam, also doubles up on my macbok air as a network port (automatically detects and uses it). Never used it with Windows, used it with Ubuntu/kali linux vmware running on a windows hypervisor.

This is a great USB to Ethernet adapter, and has worked reliably in a mobile setup for a laptop that required two Ethernet ports. Can't fault it as a network adapter. My only complaint is that the drivers on the D-Link site at the time I installed this were really difficult to find... It comes with a driver CD, but the laptop I wanted to install it on does not have a CD drive, and Win7 didn't automatically find the drivers. If D-Link were to fix this, it would be 5 stars.

Bought this as other adapters I had did not work with a 2022 Kali VM. This works fine.

Easy to connect old printers to my network

Great network adapter for Linux OS. It's small and lightweight. I've tried it on my laptop with Ubuntu 13.04 - the installation comes down to plug 'n' play principle. Drivers are included in the kernel, so there's nothing to worry about.

Personally needed it for MIB2 work which it does the job perfectly for. Works with ease on both Windows and macOS

Ich habe den DUB-E100 seit knapp einem Monat. Dieser Adapter wird sowohl im Büro als auch privat eingesetzt. Im Büro unter Windows XP (mit dem älteren Treiber von der D-Link Homepage, an meinem Arbeitsplatz 2 Stück, ein Kollege hat 3-4 im Dauereinsatz), privat unter Gentoo als zusätzliche "Karte" in einer Proxy (ebenfalls 24/7). Wurde unter Linux sofort erkannt, war auch problemlos einsatzbereit. Ich konnte bisher noch kein Problem (außer dem bekannten XP-Treiber-Problem) feststellen. Die Karte läuft stabil. Die Geschwindigkeit scheint o.k. zu sein. Der Adapter wird vielleicht handwarm. Wenn ich wieder mal einen USB-LAN-Adapter benötige, wird es dieser hier sein.

La verdad funcionaba bien pero no me sirvió para lo que lo necesitaba así que hice la devolución y sin problemas fueron muy rápidos.
