Honestly, I could do without the bible verses on the wrappers, but that's what this brand is known for. As we approach Easter (just a week away as I type this), these kinds of candies can be really nice for certain gatherings and events, as well as any time of year. As for the candies themselves...oh, my, these are good. Both the chocolate and cream flavors come through quite richly, and the candies have a smooth texture to them throughout. Plus, each piece lasts quite a while unless you chew them up (which is tough because they are solid candies). I absolutely recommend these for the candies. I also had their peaches and cream variety, and those are also delicious with the same smooth texture.

I have buying this candy in smaller packages and enjoyed it. This time I bought a big bag and it is not as good. It has no flavor to it. That the reason I buy it. Disappointed 😞

They actually taste like a really deep chocolate with a milky addition. I was surprised how good these were. They didn't taste "fake". It's a seriously big bag so I'm going to have to gift these out. I actually really liked the scripture on them. They reminded me of valentine's candy hearts with the fortunes on them. But in this case it's scripture. My mom is very religious and I will definitely be giving her some to indulge in. It's a funny combination, scripture and candy, but it's a cute novelty. I didn't plan on eating more than one the first time I tried them, but ended up popping a couple more. They didn't bother my stomach. These are a bit pricey, but you do get a LOT. This would be fun to have at church functions or Easter.
