DEWALT Hog Ring Pliers Kit, Includes Pliers and 1000 Ring Pack (P7DW)

I bought these to use to put hardware cloth on top of chicken wire to predator proof my chicken run & it is very use to use once you get the hang of it. Good grip, very good quality & reasonably priced. I am a woman & they are not too big for my hands. The design seems great. Every now & then it will not shoot one out just a stapler messes up every now & then well this does to, but not that often.

Very impressed with quality and function of this tool. Rather easy to load “c-ring staples” (similar to hog rings) and “staple” the ring where needed. Worked perfectly and made repair to patio umbrellas for a community pool a cinch. Probably good for upholstery and other items repairs too. Would easily purchase again.

Love this tool ,it is making a long tedious job ten times easier. Very well made. Very good price and a value.

I know DeWalt does not really need much endorsement. And this tool was not particularly cheap. However, I have to say is now one of my favorite tools. I am using it to secure overhead netting to guide wires. It makes the job so much easier and I'm not constantly fiddling around with little zip ties. I'm using it to rough in and then, as I stretch the netting, for final positioning. Very easy to use. And the Staples are so cheap, I'm not worried about waste.

The pliers work well and make a job go much faster than single piece rings. Unlike single ring pliers, the nature of the auto feeder causes you to learn a new way to install the rings. As a result these may not be the best solution for some. The downside of the Dewalt package is that the 11/16" hog ring strips that are included are so poorly galvanized they rust badly in less than a season and will likely be gone by the end of year 2. I've got plenty of single piece 304 stainless hog rings. I just need to find a vendor that sells 11/16" chisel tip hog ring strips in 304 stainless.

Does not make a tight crimp on the staple. Maybe useful to keep wire together, but not to keep it tight

Great Product was easy to use and saved me lots of time putting up the rabbit-proof fencing.
