They've been installed for a couple of weeks and are adhering to chairs without any issues. The pins work fine. I haven't used the pins on some of the panels, but if my cats scratch at the edges, I'll put the pins in. The panels are easy to install and the guide lines on the backing help with measuring and cutting. I got the frosted matte finish to avoid the light reflection of glossy panels. The frosted finish definitely avoids light reflection.
