A Heavenly Lavender Spa Blanket for aching Muscles.
I absolutely love Dream Time's Cozy Comfort Spa Blanket in Lavender Plush. The Lavender aroma heavenly. I have arthritis and sore muscles from an accident. I love to sit in my recliner when I watch TV at night, and put this (heated lightly in the microwave) blanket on me for complete comfort, ease and the Lavender Aroma is perfect. It really does make me feel so much better that I sometimes just fall asleep. To heat this blanket, you must remove it from the plush cover,..fold it to fit your microwave, and just a minute or two,..and refold, turn it over, and another one or two minutes more. No Longer. It is a good thing to test it first. One little draw back,.. it is a little heavy, carefully heat and return to plush cover before applying to body. Usually my husband heats it for me,..but, I can do it myself very easily, too. The heat, Lavender Aroma, and a little weight so that it doesn't fall off,.. is heavenly. It has been very cold weather, and this is the best gift that I bought for myself for Christmas. It is worth the preparation, and the warmth lasts a long time. This is a great buy, especially if you are hurting. You won't be disappointed. It is so soft and plush. The color is gorgeous. The warmth and treatment and the Heavenly Lavender smell is a pure treat.

Best Spa Blanket!
Best spa blanket ever and lasts for a really long time. I have ordered a total of 7 of these blankets for family members and one for myself which has last me two years now. I have a lot of aches and pains and this blanket heats up in about 3 to 4 minutes and it stays warm for at least 20 minutes or longer. I did go out a buy a large microwave just for this blanket, but you do not have to do this you can put blanket in dryer and heat up as well make sure you go by the instructions to heat the blanket. I heat up the blanket pull back my sheets put the blanket down and pull sheets over it and then I go brush my teeth and when I return to the bed I just lay directly on the blanket and within 10 minutes I am asleep. Love the Lavender in it as well. I do have to sprinkle with lavender oil at least once a week. I wake up in no pain and ready to take on my day.

Too big, too heavy
I thought it would be nice as a bedwarmer. It's almost too big to fit in my microwave (average size) and I have to take it out and refold it to get it warm all over. It also is very heavy and cumbersome to try to use behind my back if sitting up. Also weighty used as a leg throw. I would have shipped it back, but the the cost, because of the weight, would have been about half the price of the refund. The scent isn't all that great either.

Lovely, but heavy
The size is fine and the lavender aroma is delightful and effective for sleeping. I wish I'd paid more attention to the weight. It is heavy to carry around from the kitchen to the bed. Also, don't try to fit it in a small microwave. The heat lasts just long enough for falling asleep.

Heavy !
Loved the smell, loved the heat, but the blanket itself is kind of heavy which makes it slightly uncomfortable. One thing to keep in mind, if you have a small microwave there is a possibility this won't fit. I have to fold mine tightly and perfectly and even then it barely makes it. On a cold night, it's worth it. At other times I find it a bit aggravating. Calling it a blanket is a bit of an overstatement. Be sure to check the dimensions so you won't be fooled.

Great for fibromyalgia sufferers!
I have a variety of hot pads that I use when I have spot pain - neck pads, back wraps, etc. I love the convenience of hot pads - stick them in the microwave for a minute or so, and you're good to go. And hot pads get progressively cooler, so if you fall asleep there is no danger of getting burned (as may happen if you are using an electric pad). But when I have neck and back pain, I need something bigger. I found the DreamTime Cozy Comfort Spa Blanket on line and purchased it from Amazon so that I could send it back if I didn't like it. I've been using it for a year and love it. Pros: it's big - 40" long and 20" wide. It's cozy - the cover is Sherpa on one side, velour on the other. It's easy to use - the directions say to put the insert in the microwave, but I just roll the whole thing up and stick it in for 5 minutes. (If you need cold, you can put the insert in your freezer overnight, too.) The cons: it's a little 'stinky'. Mine has a eucalyptus aroma (I notice that they are lavender this year). Not off-putting but, given a choice, I prefer unscented hot pads. And it's a bit heavy (after all, it's bigger than any other hot pad - 40"x20"). Also, it's purple. These are tiny, tiny "cons" considering the benefits. Before I purchased this pad I was thinking about investing in a warming mattress pad, but I didn't want to wake up sweating because my internal thermostat said "enough already!". Now I just warm up this 'blanket' and put it on my bed before getting in on cold winter nights. We're not talking cheap here - the best price I've found is [...] (shipping's free...thank you, Amazon) - but this blanket has been a lifesaver for me.

Wow that smell is strong
The smell... oh that horrible smell. What is the strong smell, like I just took my nose off and put it into a bowl full of incense. Oh yeah, it is the blanket I got my wife for Christmas because she is always cold. The smell gave her a headache after just 15 minutes. If you don't like overbearing smells with your heat, then I would pass on this and get the one that doesn't have the aroma stink therapy (headache creator).

Soothing warmth with a delicious scent helps ease away the pain from sore achy joints/muscles
the smell is delicious - I took a chance on an open box product and saved quite a bit of money. I have rheumatoid and this blanket is so wonder putting in the microwave and zapping. It is a failrly good size wrap - make sure your microwave can handle it..
