The words and music stuttered and broke off and I intended to return it. However, I left it stumbling and stuttering away whilst I got on with other tasks and eventually after around 20 minutes I heard it come to an end. When I removed it there were little dark bits on the playing side. It occurred to me that this could be dirt that had been removed. I blew it off and tried the cd again. This time no problem! Played perfectly and came to an end after 5 mins. I tried it again to make sure and again no problem at all! I suspect the problem with the first attempt was because this was the first time the lens had been cleaned in over 12 years and the cd cleaner must have been struggling to remove the build-up of dirt!!! (Up until recently I didn't realize one needed to clean the lens.) I am so glad I didn't rush to return it as "faulty". It is simple to use and very effective. It has made a wonderful difference to the sound quality of my cds. I recommend it and will buy it again if and when necessary.
