Great it works as long as you can get it on. My lad soon learnt he could suck his fingers with it on so didnt like it on after that.

Eight year old told by orthodontist to stop thumb sucking, as she was misaligning her jaw. She liked these hot pink “thumb gloves”, thinks they are “cool”. She was over-awed and motivated by the orthodontist and a promised second visit in 9 months to see “how things were shaping up” but she stopped thumb sucking overnight and l think the thumb covers really helped. She only sucked her thumb at bedtime and now the “glove” is part of her routine.

We only just got these. Lets be clear… How well they work will depend on my determination to keep them on her. I’m trying to break a comfort habit. With that in view I’ve teamed our effort with the machouyou put on a lanyard ( bought on Amazon) to give her some thing to nibble. So I’m just commenting on fit and quality. I think they are well made. I bought the set with just the covered thumb. You get 2 pairs so 4 all together. Stretchy material with abit of wiggle room, but not too big. My daughter is an average size for a 4 yr old. Not sure how they wash yet but will update. She is very happy with the bright pink and is happy to wear them. She loves her machouyou too

So they are good for my daughter even though she doesn’t like wearing them she can still take her hands out of it but if you push it a little bit to fit properly and stick with it it’s worth it

I'm not one to put reviews on but I think this deserves one! I have been buying similar gloves from another site which have cost me quite a bit per glove (not even a pair). I think being a parent to an autistic 9 year old who has high levels of anxiety means we would try anything to try and reduce her anxiety. These have proven to be an absolute game changer! I love how they have a velcro on the wrist bit to refrain from easily being taken off. The only down is that mine had a bit of pulled stitch near the thumb (just 1 glove out of 4 so its ok!)I know ill get a refund but the hassle of returning the item for me at the moment with a new born is too much so I will just leave it! Overall I'm sooo happy and I've just purchased another 2 pairs for school!
