Great Birthday Gift for bright Grandaughter. Emily (8) loved the set of books and started to read them immediately. This despite being surrounded by high tech toys and screens. A welcome and refreshing change to see a child not obsessed with head buried in a screen for a change.

A well designed collection of the greatest children's stories.
Roald Dahl is probably the greatest author of children's stories. This collection includes 15 of his greatest stories, including classics such as Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Twits. This item was bought as a birthday present for a 9 year old, who adores reading. She instantly loved it, and has whizzed through 4 of the books in the first week. I even had to ask permission to borrow Matilda (a childhood favourite) for me to read personally and re-live my childhood memories. The colourful design only adds to the attractiveness of the present, and as it comes in a box, none of the books are misplaced. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for a child who is enthusiastic about reading.
