Butane Gas Micro Torch,Black/Grey

So far I have used the torch to heat rusted nuts to remove them. The torch flame is very focussed and I was able to just heat the nuts with minimum damage to the surrounding paint. I am sure that I will have many other uses for it in the future.

I deliberately ledt it a while before reviewing this as i expected it to play up quickly, but it works well. Have used it to solder copper pipes several times and all features, for instance, flame adjustment is good. Fills grom a standard butane gas cannister available everywhere. If you're smart, youll buy these from Amazon sellers in bulk to make good savings. I ordered 12 for about a £1 each, so running costs very low.

So far so good...! It lights, it burns, it adjusts & it appears to be very well made. I've always wanted a mini blow torch, & I'm so happy that I now have one. Simply lovely.

I bought this torch with high hopes after reading the glowing reviews. However, upon filling it and igniting it for the first time, it was clear to me that it's not fit for purpose and unsafe. There is no safety lock to prevent ignition by accident and the valve which should stop the flow of gas does not close properly, letting butane leak out even when not in use and it can still be heard hissing. It continued to ignite with the valve firmly closed which shouldn't have even been possible.

It’s a great little torch, the only downside is the trigger broke fairly quickly and I have to light it with a spark from my gas hob

Very durable, easy to use and reliable

Heats the Anvil/Tornado to click in 20 to 30 seconds, depending upon flame setting. I'd replace it instantly if it went missing. Feels a solid build, which means it's fairly heavy, but I prefer that to a more lightweight plasticky option. Holds a huge amount of gas. Only downside is there isn't a window to see when it's running low.
