Great oil

This is a top quality 5w40 engine oil. I use it in a second car, a 21 year old bmw z4 e85 with 100,000 + miles on it. Spec of car says 5w30 but with higher miles this oil keeps the engine in good order and quieter. BMW forums highly rate this oil for higher mileages.The car only does around 2000 miles a year and I change the oil and filter annually. The engine is as smooth as it was when I bought it over 20 years ago. The car has always had castrol oil.

Been using castrol for donkeys years. Always use castrol oil when ever possible. Being a mechanical engineer and a mechanic, I can say I havent yet seen an engine carboned up with castrol and regular oil changes. However, that does not mean other oils are bad, it's just that I haven't had a problem with castrol
