The changeable ends are great. It’s just the right size, yet has a lot of force to work harden my wire and metal. I’m so glad I purchased it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a hammer... *by W***D on October 19, 2024* So this is a basic brass mallet. It's job is to whack things without damaging them. However, out of the box, this one won't do it. There was a slightly raised edge on the face and clear machining marks. It also had raised wood and burs from where the handle was attached. So this mallet required dressing before it could be used and more than I would have thought necessary, but these are always adjusted somewhat to taste, so this isn't that big of a deal. Just a disappointment and a reflection of lower qualify manufacture. So 4/5 stars.
