Easter Bunny's Coming to Town (DVD) Fred Astaire narrates the story of Easter, which actually began in the village of Kidville. The town was run and inhabited only by children, and one Easter morning the children found a sad baby bunny among them. They named him Sunny, and he grew up happily but liked to venture to a nearby town where only grown-ups lived--except for 7-year-old King Bruce. As a gesture of friendship, Sunny started bringing Bruce lovely painted eggs--the first Easter eggs ever. And every Easter thereafter, the rabbit would invent another Easter tradition--egg rolling, jellybeans, chocolate bunnies. Review: Classic. - Childhood core memories unlocked! One of the best sequels to a holiday classic!!!
This is not a shabby, rip of sequel like many Easter versions of famous Christmas movies! This is SUPER quality Rankin/Bass special, intended to be the Easter version of the classic "Santa Claus is Comin to Town" narrated by Fred Astaire. This one is too, and is meets and in some cases exceeds the quality and creativity of it's conterpart! Another brilliant script by Romeo Muller, memorable characters with terrific voice work, and wonderful songs and story! Not only includes fun explinations on Easter tranditions, but also the Big Rock Candy Mountain and the Little Engine that Could in the story arc + other original story aspects. Love Kidsville, Gadzooks, Hallellujah, Chugs, and Sunny the Easter the Bunny! One of the Best Rankin Bass sequels out there!!! "De-liquorice!" :)

Super cute Easter movie
This is a really cute classic Easter movie! My child had watched it before on YouTube and loved it. Basically weโre trying to collect all of the best classic DVDs and Blu-ray we can so that we are not having to rely on digital. If you havenโt watched this movie, you really should.

Love it!
There arenโt that many Easter specials for kids period, old and new. This is a wonderful Easter story that explains the origin of the Easter bunny. Itโs old school stop-motion animation with puppets, not hand drawn animation, but it actually looks good in 4K ultra HD. The voice talent is good, and it includes the famous tap dancer known as Fred Astaire, a likable train conductor in this special who narrates the story. It has some cute songs in it, too. Definitely worth watching with your kids.

Fantastic
This Rankin/Bass movie is a quaint little show but mostly for young children. Only an avid collector of Rankin/Bass will truly appreciate this.
