I was looking to improve my strength and vitality, I decided to give the Black Maca Root Complex for Men a try. I took the recommended dosage of 2 capsules per day for a month to properly test it out. Overall, I would say this product has both pros and cons that are worth considering. On the positive side, the high dosage of black maca root extract seems effective at improving energy levels. I felt I had more sustained energy in the gym and was able to push a bit harder on my weight training without getting as fatigued. The zinc and L-arginine are helpful additions as well that may support healthy testosterone levels. I can't say for sure my testosterone increased, but I did feel a slight boost in sex drive while taking this product. The price is also reasonable for a one month supply. However, there are some downsides to mention. The size of the capsules is quite large - they are difficult to swallow. I would prefer a smaller capsule size with less filler. Also, the effects seemed to plateau after the first 2 weeks. I no longer noticed major gains in energy or stamina after the initial bump. Additionally, maca root can cause some gastrointestinal discomfort in sensitive individuals. I experienced slight nausea if taking the capsules on an empty stomach. Starting with just 1 capsule per day and taking with food is best to assess tolerance. Each capsule contains extracts from the Maca root as well as Ginkgo Biloba, Panax Ginseng, L-arginine, Damiana Leaf Extract, Black Pepper and Zinc. Maca root is supposed to possess many beneficial properties, I was taking it a few years ago but due to uncertainty about it interfering with some medication I was taking, I stopped. Strangely enough, because I no longer take that medication, I considered starting taking it again, so when the Kula Nutrition maca root capsules became available. I jumped at the opportunity and have now been taking them for a while to properly assess any benefits. I also take a daily dose of vitamin B supplements and marine magnesium, which should have complementary effects to the maca root. After taking the Maca root capsules for a while, I can say that I do feel an improvement. I seem to have better energy levels and find that I can be more focused on what I am doing and not be quite so scatterbrained. Considering that the Kula Nutrition capsules contain all the other useful ingredients, they are quite good value. I can’t say for sure that the change is due totally to the Maca root, it may be a combination of this and the other supplements but I will keep taking the capsules.

Easy to swallow, no bad taste. I tried a couple of different supplements at the same time. This and another. Didn't notice any improvement, in fact, stopped taking it after a couple of weeks as I had been feeling pretty bad. Can't say what caused it but definitely hadn't noticed any improvements.
