A: Probably not. Try the 3" or 4"

**Q: Does the binder clasp close securely (and flush), without gapping, preventing pages from coming out when they are turned?**
A: I have dividers in my notebook to keep paperwork in it and the metal clasp appear flushed and I turn the pages and the dividers stay in place; hope this helps you.

A: Mine is exactly the 1 inch.

**Q: How wide is the spine of the binder, (the only info I see related to that is that the rings are 1.5)"?**
A: The binders are sold in varying sizes that refer to the spine. So a binder of 1.5 inches refers to the width of the spine. If you buy a two-inch, the spine is two inches wide. They come in three inches, which is what I bought, and four inches and so on.
