Looks Great ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice Visually but 42 inch Fireplace is Too Loud To Use As Heating Source When Sitting Nearby *by B***N on January 13, 2025* I really like the realistic flames and extra heat the unit adds to my Living Room. Unfortunately, the loud fan whirl noise makes the heater unusable when occupying the room. I use my expensive electric central heating instead which negates why I purchased the 42” 240v Fireplace to heat just one room. I contacted Dimplex support requesting to be a beta tester for a variable fan upgrade. Support responded to my concerns by sending out another fan, but the replacement is just as loud. Pros: Beautiful Fireplace and no more hassle burning wood and smoking up the house. Adds just enough additional heat to make the room more comfortable. Cons: Loud fan air flow noise. Hopefully, a variable speed or redesigned air flow system will be used in future models.
