Ontario Knife Company Co BSH 12 Inch Sheath Black

This was a perfect fit for my M48 Ops Combat Machete United Cutlery UC3023. The blade is 12.5” longe from blade tip to base of the black handle. The liner inside is a firm reinforced cloth and sheathing and resheathing machete is optimal but take not to allow sharp blade from cutting through. Worth the price because I had trouble finding sheaths long enough tofit this particular blade. Also, cost was perfect if it ever gets cut from the blade. Overall perfect fit and quality you can expect from Ontario Knife Company.

This is a heavy duty well made sheath. It is far better then the original olive drab Vietnam era sheath that came with it that was thin and shrunk till if had 2" of blade by the Hilton showing. This is a good one I just wish it had color options.

This was perfect for my 12" long 2" wide bowie. None of the other companies had a sheath that would fit even though "Rufus" said otherwise. If you have a big bowie with these deminsions then get this and it will not rust your knife.

A sheath is not necessary for a backyard tool, but it is a must for field or camp carry. This is a sturdy companion for the Ontario 12 inch machete. However, it does not contain a dedicated full length edge guard. So if the blade is sharpened to a slicing edge, it appears to me that a hasty withdrawal could cut the nylon skin or the edge binding from the inside. A series of steel rivets would prevent any personal injury. With care in use, it is a good product at a great price.

Really nice sheath, especially for the price. only thing is it doesn’t have a strap to keep the machete in place, but it shouldn’t just fly out. Unless you’re doing some crazy jumps or something.

Seems like it is well made. I have not had any issues with it. Fits my 12" Blackie Collins machete perfectly. It has a nice belt loop but I wish it also had a few other points of connection (small loops) for attachment to thigh or for a sling to wear on my shoulder.

Excelente producto muy ligero y funcional espero darle uso rudo y ya veremos que tal su duración aunque es muy cómoda y práctica. Al menos la puse de funda de un machete tramontina campamento y le quedó a la medida. Su enganche lateral es ideal para porte en cintura con un cinturón de combate.

Buon tessuto e ottimo pezzo. nato per un machete, ho voluto adattarlo ad un Cold Steel Bushman e ci sono riuscito senza difficoltà. Spedizione veloce e imballo perfetto.

A little bit for my blade but that is my mistake. It's well made for the cost.

Fits the Ontario CT1 12 inch machete perfectly. Looks like some sort of leather or pleather lining on the inside and nylon on the outside. The grommet holes look like they'd protect the stitching well enough in use, though I can't say if they make contact with the blade. Overall, comfortable to wear on my belt making my CT1 usable in the field. My only complaint is that it costs nearly as much as the CT1 machete.
