I cooked mine in a sauce with citrus and added more heat and some sugar.... so did not use it as is. I’ve never used the product in this form but found it sour (which is the product) and fairly tasteless. And there were seeds still there. This is probably natrytal and to be expected just that, as my first time use, I was a bit surprised at what the product is. **Q: is this good for cooking Indian dishes?** A: This product has good flavor, but it has skins and some seeds. Not too easy to handle. **Q: Can it be mixed with water and drink?** A: I don’t think so. A blender will be needed. The pulp is to thick. **Q: Even though the package say Seedless , there are a lot of seeds. Is there tric to separate seeds when you cook?** A: I did not find anyway to release the seeds and the skin is quite tough. Buying fresh tamarind fruit pods could be "iffy" as some come moldy and often dry. With a little extra effort and time, you'll get an excellent tamarind paste from this product which can be easily adjusted for thickness or thinness by the addition of more/less water. I salt this and let the sun dry it for a few days, it's delicious as a tart snack, with fruits and really tasty on alot of dishes. Careful not to eat too much or chew it the entire time. It's best eaten like a 'hard candy" until it melts in your mouth, any of the flesh is edible and the seeds if any, are plantable, saveable and useable for other things. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, but not seedless *by J***Y on January 9, 2020* The product I received was good quality, but was not seedless. Most of the seeds had been removed, but I ended up with about 20 whole seeds and some small fragments of seeds and shells in the mix, but they were not too much trouble to strain out after steeping the pulp in hot water. The flavor was good and the product seemed fresh (unspoiled).
