Just received these, and I have to say they are the best combs I have used. My hair is fine, but I have lots of it. I always sweep up one side of my hair. Don’t ask me why I’ve always done it. I like the way it looks, and these stayed in place, never slid at all. Don’t hesitate if you’d like a good comb that does the job; these fit the bill.

I have been looking for some good, old style combs for some time. These are the best I have found. They are sightly wider than I would prefer, but hold pretty well. I’m in my 70s and my hair is beginning to thin a bit, so one side holds better than the side that is thinning. Overall, I’m happy with them. I don’t need so many as come in the package, but if one gets broken or lost, there are plenty to replace it! I doubt these would hold well on very fine hair, but do well in mine.

I recently started wearing hair combs to keep my hair out of my face when I left it down (I have very long hair) and I started with the standard small combs, which worked ok. These combs are maybe 50% larger and work so much better for the way I wear them. I like the crystal decorations and color selection. I've been using them daily for a month now and none have broken or lost teeth. They stay in fairly well and aren't too heavy. The colors are very close to the product photos on Amazon. Just realize the 4" is probably almost the width of the back your head and you shouldn't be too surprised by the size.

Was looking for a comb that had deeper/longer teeth and of more substantial construction/size. These would be fine for thin hair, or for a girl, but not for a woman with a good amount of hair/volume.

These have been a great buy. I haven’t had a haircut all year due to COVID, and these have been a godsend. Two or three are all I need to keep my fine hair off my face. When I selected them I envisioned recreating an updo style from my 20’s (50+ years ago), but haven’t had the strength or ambition to try that yet. I didn’t see any other vendors offering these many combs at any price. I also liked that they were all the same tortoise shell color. I will turn to this vendor for future hair styling needs. I highly recommend this product.

I like these because they're wider than most of my other combs so they hold a lot of hair, either in a French twist, or to give more volume when I use it on the side. I've only had them for a couple of months but they seem sturdy and don't look cheap. A good value for the price.

These side combs break easily, usually within first three (3) uses; often fall out and become lost; and do not hold hair well.
