Super quality, the size commands the corner of my terrace Review: Just perfect for my monstera deliciosa! - I need to repot my Swiss Cheese Plant and doing so requires a pretty sizeable pot. After scouring desertcart for something suitable, I came across this product and decided to go for it, opting for the 40cm which is perfect for my plant. I didn’t want to pay £100 upwards for a terra cotta pot so discovering a cheaper, plastic option was ideal. Delivery was prompt, arriving within a day and the product suitably packaged. Being made of plastic it is quite lightweight but once filled with soil it won’t be moving anywhere. The pot is pretty sturdy and hard enough not to bend or dent, unless you were to take a run up and jump on it. I can confirm that there are 4 x holes which have been pre-drilled for drainage purposes. I will be adding some extra holes but for an item straight out the box, it will happily drain excess water if you’ve not got a drill to hand. In terms of colour, it appears to me as anthracite / black with little white speckles dotted all over. It looks aesthetically pleasing and I’m sure even more so once it has the plant in it. There are some details printed onto the base of the pot, which for the 40cm shows a volume of 25LTRS. As for the dimensions (HxWxD) of the pot, please see the attached pics. Overall this is a great pot for homing your plants. Perhaps a little pricey for what is essentially a plastic mould but a darn side cheaper than a terra cotta alternative.
