CE Küchenminis Egg Cooker, Multi-Colour

I was in the office and try it to cook a few eggs instead of using the microwave. All the thing are great, but 1) it really sound like a fire alarm (loud and long) after finish the egg. And everyone in office jumps up and see what’s going on and start to escape. This is really embarrassing. Hope manufacturers can change to more soft sound or music alarm. 2) I have break the egg when I try flat the wire at the bottom. The egg cover should have clips to lock at the case.

I hesitated in buying this due to the cost, but I have bought a number of different microwave egg boilers over the last year and all were cheap, tacky and didn't work (sadly the old microwave ones that I bought from Lakeland many, many years ago are now reaching the end of their life). Because of the poor quality of microwave boilers I then looked at electric and, after much, investigation opted for this one. I am delighted to report that it feels solid and of good quality. The instructions are simply and easy to understand (something quite novel!) and it actually works. The only downside is that it does not stop automatically when the egg(s) are ready but lets out a low noise, the machine then needs to be switched off. If one is not in the area when the noise sounds I am not sure what would happen. It is also slower than my current old microwave egg boilers but, overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this.

A great egg boiler. The water quantities needed refining but then also very much dependant on egg size and softness preference. I would highly recommend but can only give 4 stars as it has a Euro plug with an adapter. The adapter is an enclosure type but its such a tight fit that it hasn't sealed properly. Not a major concern but I would have preferred a UK plug (which I thought was a legal requirement when sold in UK but Amazon ignore that issue).

Compact and smart enough to be left out on my kitchen worktop all the time so I'm using it a lot more often than my previous 7 egg boiler. I also love the fact that it's all self contained so I have no need to rummage around for a measuring cup every time I want to use it. Plus, it works really well.

I had to return this item as I couldn't remove the perspex top (it seemed to have been stuck on). This was a disappointment as I believe the product would have worked very well. Return procedure was very good, although I wasn't offered a replacement.

Fast and efficient and cost effective.

Purchased this item passed on the reviews and the dazzling images didn’t expect that such a company with high price to have a product that is not AUTO OFF very annoying peeping sounds like a fire alarm, however it’s small enough and cute , just you need to put another timer on your phone so you won’t forget the machine on . Not recommend if your looking for an egg cooker with latest features

I have had a WMF Küchenminis 2 Egg Cooker of 110V 60Hz in other Asian country since 2021. It has been working good since, and I like it. So, I bought another one with 230V 50Hz for my daughter during my stay in Australia in 2025.

I like the design and this egg cooker would have been perfect for me. Unfortunately, it comes with a European plug and works with 220V only. Don't order this if you intend to use it in the US.

Quite a terrible product: the lid doesn't fit on very well or securely, the water level indicator is very inaccurate, the eggs are often underdone, the sound it makes when finished is like a smoke alarm, water often overspills. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because it did cook an egg the way I wanted on 2 out of 5 attempts.
