Have been using this dust plug now for 10 weeks and my first one just detached and got lost. The good news that after cleaning the port (with phone off and using a dental flosser (like from OralB and air duster) my phone charged normally. These plugs do work! However don't expect them to last long. I am happy to have gotten 10 weeks out of one. This item contains 10 plugs. So, 10 should last up to 2 years! Again, well worth the protection. Just make sure your phone surface or case is clean before applying the adhesive end of the plug.

So far this dust plug is working perfectly. As others suggested, I applied it directly to my iPhone so the adhesive part is under the case. (The other advice I followed was to attach the plug to the port BEFORE applying the adhesive to the phone - makes alignment trivial.) It's holding up pretty well (one month so far - I'll update the review if things change). It takes a little bit of practice to reinsert the plug with one hand, but otherwise no complaints.

Because Im an old codger, I still use a my USB-C port to charge my phone and lament the days when phone cases included the cover for the charger port. Hence why I purchased these. That said, they work really nicely. They stick to my phone case which comes in and out of my pocket numerous times a day, and the plug keeps all the dust and lint out of the port. My case is black, and these blend in seamlessly. The size is perfect and they offer great protection. In four months, I only had to replace the plug one time and only because I accidentally picked the glue tab and it didn't stay attached to my case.

Good product, the tape is a little weak and slides around some. For reference I use this on my streamlight wedge. Overall I’d buy again

Awesome!! You get 10 of them and they're easy to apply. They're silicone and super thin so the sticky part will adhere around edges. I got a new case for my phone that doesn't have a port cover so these were a good fit. They do exactly what I need and I put them on other devices too: a Miyoo handheld, a DJI osmo, Flipper Zero, a battery pack, and my steam deck. Some places the sticky pad had to bend to fit edges, but it's flexible enough that I could work it into the edges. It didn't fight back since the material is so thin.A tip for people applying them to phone cases: instead of applying it to your case, take the case off and apply it to the phone directly instead, then put your case back on. The case will hold the pad on and prevent it from falling off when you take your phone out.An easy way to fit them is to put the cover on your port first, then peel off the pad and stick it down. If you stick the pad first, it might not reach your port easily or in a straight line.Overall a great buy for $6 and worth it to keep crud out of charging ports. Anyone who has had to deal with sand in a charging port understands how frustrating it is and this little piece of silicone will prevent that. I recommend putting these on anything that might go in your pocket or a bag!

The adhesive is not great. And the plug is difficult to fit into receptacles.However, I don't think that's the fault of this specific brand, more a limitation of the type of product. I only went 3 stars because if someone is thinking of trying something like this, and checks reviews, they'd likely bypass the 5star review that says the same thing, despite the product doing what it claims to do.It isn't a ripoff, it's just that the use case for something like this is very difficult to fill.So, be aware of that if looking for something to protect your port. Expect to replace plugs often, no matter what brand you get, and expect them to be fiddly to insert

I love this product. It’s a little bit fiddly but it is worth it. It is particularly good for a person who works in a dusty environment. It’s a very soft rubber that allows complete sealing of the port. I stick the adhesive pad to my phone directly then fish the plug out through the hole in my case. That way it is held onto my phone and the plug resides in the recess in my case.

I should’ve tried these things long ago but, I saw this pack of 10 of them and I’m glad I did. They stick on well so far and they are definitely helping to keep my iPad plug clear. My only problem is how tiny it is as I’m trying to get it set correctly but, I’m not sure how that could be changed and it still be virtually invisible when it’s plugged in. Anyway, the little kit comes in a nice hard plastic little case, with custom Q Tip-like cleaning things too and they work great, so I’m definitely happy I tried them.
