The holy grail of period products
Im so glad I tried a reusable products one last time. I had tried several different cups in the past but never got on woth them. The suction was painful and concerning. I could also feel it even when properly placed and it also leaked which isnt optimal which was a big problem for someone like myself either PCOS, endometriosis and extremely heavy periods. In the end I gave up and went back to pads and tampons. That was until I saw a YouTube talking about menstrual discs and I figured id give reusables one last chance and I am so glad I did. The shordy disc is actually the second of 2 discs I have tried and definitely my favourite of the two. The bodyotics one was okay but had some flaws. That one the rim is much softer than the shordy which can make it really difficult to insert correctly whereas the shordy's rim is stiffer, still comfortable but makes it way easier to insert. When it comes to removal I really struggled with the bodyotics which only has a finger loop I found it difficult trying to locate the tab to remove and could be quite uncomfortable, even painful catching on my most sensitive tissues. In the end to make it usable for me I was having to tie a string onto it like a tampon. When I came across the shordy with a a pull "string" already I knew I had to try it and its amazing so easy to remove and insert I highly recommend the shordy to anyone that will listen. other reviewers have mentioned about it being messy to use and it can be however I have figured a way to stop it being messy. The very first time I tried it (TMI imminent) when I pulled the "string" to pull out, with the material having elastic properties it kinda flew out and went everywhere 🥴 (my bathroom looked like a crime scene) I have figured a way to stop this though what I do is use my dominant hand to pull th string and I place my left and over the vaginal opening when I feel the disc with my left hand I will then let go of the string and use my dominant hand to remove the disc the rest of the way holding the rim, this way the disc is kept upright with nothing spilling out. Finally no more bathroom crime scenes. When I was using regular pads and tampons I could go through the highest absorbancy tampon AND a night-time pad worn together every 1½-2 hours. Ive ruined so many bedsheets snd pj's with my leaks. Everymorning I would wake up in a massive pool of blood. Nit anymore with the shordy menstrual disc, im finally getting some sleep when it's period not having to constantly get ip to change and no more blood bath surprises when I wake up. My period od never less than 10 days and thats 10 heavy days so as you can imagine 10 days of that every month wasnt very fun. Seriously ladies give it a try, you wont regret it. Abd practice makes perfect for inserting and removing but its easy once you get the hang of it I find it no more difficult than changing a tampon just remember not to use the string to pull it out the entire way just use the string to pull it to the opening then use the rim to remove it the rest of the way. Id give this 10 stars if I could.

Soft and holds more then a cup, no leaks!
Amazing! I wish I’ve bought it sooner, been using menstrual cup for years and always made my periods feel more painful, the rubber is harder. And the cups fills up fast on the high flow, so it ends up leaking when I can’t change that often. But the disk is super soft, sits right behind the cervix, holds more and its just so much nicer! No issues at all to apply, obviously you will need to apply higher up then the cup, but I found no issues whatsoever! If you contemplating doing the switch just go for it!

Great for a beginner like me!
I spent ages researching what disc to use as I had never tried them before. I didn’t like the idea of ‘auto dumping’, I didn’t want one that was too soft or too hard and I didn’t know what size to buy. This set comes in 2 sizes, has a little removal cord and doesn’t auto dump. After using these I will never go back to tampons or cups! I use the larger size for the heavy days and the small one for lighter days and neither leak. They fit securely and neatly and are easy to insert. Removal is harder on heavy days so it may be best to do that in the shower. I can wear them for up to 12 hours which is so convenient, but on the really heavy days I change after about 6-8 hours. The removal cord is long so it sticks out like a tampon string. I might cut it as that is a bit annoying. What I’ve been doing is folding it inwards so all of it is inside but sometimes it pops out again. They are easy to clean and you can store them in the little bag provided. I am really amazed at how little waste there is compared to using traditional products, as I had switched from cups back to tampons and pads. These discs are much better than cups as you can’t feel them and they don’t get dislodged like cups can sometimes do. I also didn’t want the suction of cups, in case of prolapse (I have birthed 3 babies and am now in perimenopause). These are a good price too so they are worth a try, since many other brands are more expensive for just one disc. Periods are so annoying and time consuming, but these things make life that little bit easier. I also like that they don’t cause any dryness or irritation.

Great little product
I've been using this for a couple months now and after you get the hang of it, it's very comfortable and easy to use, and has completely substituted out for pads. I like the smooth, non-abrasive material, and I have no issues with it. Only giving this four starts because the little pull-thingy can get a bit annoying if not inserted far enough, because it's quite long for me. This depends on everyone, so I wouldn't tell someone to not buy it because they might have a different experience than me. I would recommend a disc to everyone!

Amazing product when used correctly!
This is the first time using this as i have always used heavy flow pads and always leaked hourly . But this has really helped wirh that the first time using it, it leaked and was uncomfortable i did a little reseach and adjusted the way i put it in and wow total game changed i could go hours before i needed to empty using the large disc no more heavy gushes when i get out of bed in the morning. I would advise women with heavey flow and endo to try this but do your research first so you know how to use it correctly.

10/10 recomend
Takes some time to get used to it! But after that is wonderful, last all day and works perfectly.

Not for everyone
The disc gets dislodged easily, causing a mess and making it inconvenient to use. It often leads to frustration because it doesn't stay in place as expected. Compared to the disc, the cup is much more reliable, secure, and comfortable. For these reasons, I definitely prefer the cup over the disc.

Glad to have been able to try both sizes in this pack
I found these tricky to insert, but I had tried a menstrual cup and never been able to insert the cup so compared to the cup these were easier. I watched a detailed YouTube video on how to insert and tuck behind the pelvic bone which was easier than it sounds. However I just couldn't get the disc to work, I tried both sizes and tucked behind the pelvic bone and the discs weren't catching any blood. Blood would be around and over it instead. I ended up giving up as they did also feel somewhat bulky inside me. If they worked I can imagine really getting along with the discs, and the string part worked well to pull the disc out. However I have now switched to period pants and I'm genuinely loving them much more than I thought I would (I've just stopped using tampons) and the pants seem so simple and effective for my lighter flow. I feel like my periods are actually just a bit easier now. Everyone is different though so although I don't use these discs I can imagine they would work well for a lot of people.

This disc is AMAZING!!
This thing is killer! I've used pads, tampons, and cups before, and nothing compares to this! It's super comfortable to wear and was really easy to learn. I had it in my bag and my period started a few days early while I was staying the night out, and I had nothing else with me. I was hoping that I could try it at home with a pad, just in case it leaked, but honestly I had no issues with leaking at all! It took me a little bit to feel around and make sure it was positioned properly at first, but I'm on my third day now and I can pop it in with ease and have no issues with leaking. The only things I would say are a bit tedious is the fact that it auto dumps when I go to the bathroom, and that it's definitely messier to remove. So if you're not great with your fingers getting bloody, it might not be the best product for you. You definitely need to be pretty comfortable with that kind of stuff lol! If you're someone who goes to the bathroom a lot when you're on your period, I can see the auto dumping getting a bit annoying, but it hasn't auto dumped at any other time, so I think I'm safe lol! I can't feel it at all, the string isn't uncomfortable for me and I find it really useful for removal, and it's actually helped with my cramps! My cramps can be pretty bad for the first day or two, I mean like borderline puking from the pain levels of cramps. But with the disc, my cramps were pretty average on the first day, I took a Tylenol and was perfectly good to go! Because it doesn't suction like the cup does, it's very, VERY unnoticeable. 10/10 would recommend!

Must Have. Get It.
Game changer. Yes have to get past the empty part so that can be blah. I’ve had 2 babies. Use the small and have no leakage and it’s easy to put in and take out. I had previously tried a diva cup and hated it! This is way better and I’ve seen super expensive ones but this is cheaper and still works with no issues. For $13 try it out!

Consigliatissimo
