Easy to alter hight. Have used as a extra table at Christmas meals. Norming used as model and sewing table and easily takes weight of sowing machine and is very stable when pressing on it to use as cutting out table Review: Very substantial table - I wanted a a large enough table to cut out large pieces of fabric out on, but one that can be stored away as it will be in our spare bedroom. This table has surpassed all my expectations. It is the right height for me to cut on without getting back ache and I am 5' 8". It straddles the bottom of our spare double bed so it is not obtrusive at all. When any one stays it can be flattened and put away. It is very heavy and a strong table. My husband managed to carry it upstairs but bare in mind if you are not strong you may need help. It is way better than the paste tables we have had in the past when wallpapering.
