Battery required for trigger and DC cable connection concerns
Just received it and got the handle trigger to work with FX30 but no clear instructions and didn’t realize prior to purchase the handle requires a battery to operate the run/stop trigger. Plus the dc power port on the handle requires a smaller input than my gear uses so I need to purchase a compatible cable or adapter to power my monitors.

Functional, but...
Disapointed overall. It works... but the top nato rail has a hotshoe in the middle of it which is also dead center of lens so EXACTLY where I want to put a top handle - but not the sony audio top handle. The hot shoe makes it so my two nato mount top handles aren't secure in that spot and have to be used off center. With all the choices out there, while this cage is good, and the quality is top notch, I'll be returning it and getting a different cage. Want to maximize compatibility with all my existing gear, not get locked in to a brand.
