CRC QD Electronic Cleaner 05101 – 4.5 Wt. Oz., Plastic Safe Cleaner, Safe for Sensitive Electronics

Had a safety switch inside a motorcycle kickstand not wanting to work. A spray of this stuff and it’s good as new. At least for the moment. Will respray as necessary.

This is the only cleaner I use

I was hearing static when I adjusted the volume on my Grundig AM/FM radio. I just sprayed a little of this product around the volume control and POOF, it's gone now. It worked great!The package includes a thin straw so you can shoot cleaner into tight spaces.

This product works really well

I purchased this product in order to attempt to revive an old Technics turntable. The pitch control was not working reliably, but after several blasts of cleaner to the pitch control knobs, the turntable works great. Next up was the temperature control knob in a 1962 Kelvinator refrigerator. I was unable to source the correct replacement part, so i had nothing to lose when i blasted the cleaner into every opening in the knob control. Once reassembled, the knob and refrigerator once again function perfectly. Finanally, I tried the cleaner on the fan motor of our 1980's Windsor Versamatic VSE-3 vacuum cleaner. The vacuum had stopped working 4 years ago and several local repair shops had been unable to repair it. We had to purcahase a replacement vacuum, but I was unable to part with the Windsor. With no expectations of success, i blasted the cleaner in between the spindle & magnets. Alot of black residue came out. Once again, after reassembly, the vacuum came back to life. This stuff is great.

Can't run down to Radio Shack any more. This stuff does the trick for old BNC and N connectors.

Electric lawn mower was having a hard time starting, got this to spray the contacts, to include inside switch on the front control panel. One application and things work fine after 4 months.

Performed as advertised

I had a flakey piece of electronics on my granddaughters' kitchen play set and I tracked the problem down to a pair of AA batteries that had given up the ghost and leaked all over the inside of the battery compartment. I did my Papa duty and said "I can fix it" but I just couldn't clean up the mess enough to allow those electrons to flow - hence - this acquisition. A good shake of the can, a quick squirt to both ends of the connections and a couple of wipes with some kitchen towel and that plastic microwave was back to driving me nuts with its beeps and boops while Hannah and Sadie made me some Acorn soup. My "Papa can fix anything" reputation is safe once more.

Before I used this the radio wasn't working at all due to bad corrosion I ended up using about a third of this can it's not perfect but it's mostly working. Before I was lucky to get one radio station in and it only stayed in for a few seconds tops. Only con is the price but that's the same for everything you buy these days anyway Next time I need this I'll pay a few dollars more and buy the larger can of the same brand. Overall it's worth buying to save a old radio and will buy again when needed.

It’s good product for electrical parts cleaning which does improve and extend life of electrical components

Produit ayant nettoyé sans problème les potentiomètres et commutateurs rotatifs de mon vieil ampli des années 75. Les crachotements et autres dysfonctionnement ont disparus sans démontage. Juste un reproche, si le produit est excellent le flacon l'est moins. Le tube flexible est trop court ce qui empêche l'accès aux pièces difficiles d'accès et selon la position du flacon le produit coule alors entre le "bouton" pressoir et le flacon.
