I tried the light at different heights and was surprised to see a decent image at 2ft (600mm).As for fitting, if you have puddle lights it's just a case of tapping of the existing lights for the power. Where you drill the hole is another matter, fortunately I found a location in the door panel so the actual door did not need to be drilled. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite impressive *by M***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 August 2018* These lights are are compact and feel very sturdy. Unfortunately they do not come with fitting instructions so some auto DIY experience is required to fit them (unless replacing existing lights). The cutting tool is a boon. The only downside was the amount of thread available for the locking ring. I fitted mine into the bottom of the interior door panels but because the plastic is thicker than the threads that take the locking rings they had to be abandoned, but I am hoping the lights are snug enough so that they don't move. ### ⭐ Arrived damaged.
