My current project has a lot of brackets that, when welded, will be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to paint fully, so pre-coating them is a must for a long-lasting result. I had been using another brand and found it really affected weld quality, so I bought this to try based on other reviews and my experience with their other products. I have to say I was immediately impressed. The paint applies well and dries quickly. I normally will try to clean back the weld-through primer in areas where I'm directly welding out of habit, but I've found you really can weld through this stuff without affecting the weld quality. Once cured, it's very durable, and although it obviously burns away right at the weld, the surrounding areas are still remarkably well coated. Overall, I'm very happy with this stuff and have, in fact, just ordered more.

I've been a Seymour paint fan for a while, so it wasn't really a surprise that their weld-through primer worked so well.
