I bought this for the absolute wrong purposes (not welding). With that said, it did exactly what I needed it to do 😂 which is to help me smoke vape carts. It fit any standard threaded cartridge, I had no problems with it. Overheating vape oil is really dangerous but with this mini soldering iron I could adjust the heat using a twisting dial on the bottom so I just set the heat on the same voltage as my old vape battery. The battery life was crazy good I rarely had to charge it. I quit smoking at one point and gave it to my friend but I’m considering buying it again because it was THE BEST. Especially since it comes with a screw on cap to protect from the hot end when not in use, that came in handy with keeping dust out of my cart. For the benefit vs the value I’d definitely buy this again. For anyone seeking this item for actual welding…sorry 😂 give it a shot!

Not at all impressed with the build quality. I've bought two of these, and both times it died for no discernable reason. The first one started falling apart (the tip started to fall off), the second one the battery just wouldn't connect to the charger or the tip. The light around the button stutters red now, even when nothing is plugged in and it isn't being used. Would not recommend.

Does what its supposed it. And Works for carts as well! The charger flashes red and green but it charges just fine. Also if u have nothing connected into it will ur pressing the button it will just blink u have to acctully connect something to it for it work. WARNING- dont have it next to ur leg or somthing when sitting as u might hit the button and it will burn through ur whole cart as there's no blinker stoppage. Speaking from experience lol

pretty good for a pen, though the temps it's set to are on average hotter than a 510 thread battery. The size is bigger than expected, it's built durably. Other pens I've had have the top come off after unscrewing/screwing, this has not. Very good value for the money imo, some people have issues with it arriving not functional though. Works fast, and the big battery lasts a long time.
