I ended up receiving them 2 days later. This was a nice little unexpected bonus! Price: $159.99 for a legit wireless set is a pretty good deal. SteelSeries is still trying to sell their wireless Siberia model for $255.99. The number of cheap wireless Logitech sets may tempt you, but the reported poor sound quality and horrible battery life should deter you. Packaging: As always, the packaging from HyperX is clean and minimalistic. You get everything in one nice little box. I observed no damage or indents to the box upon opening. Product Appearance: Mostly black, which I like. Has the option for a minimal lighting effect, which can be turned off to save battery life. I enjoy the matte finish as opposed to the high gloss of some headsets. Appearance is always something that HyperX gets right. Sound Quality: You need to keep in mind that this headset is wireless. That means you will be able to tell the difference if you are used to playing games while wearing $400 top of the line wired sets. Range: I can head to the kitchen for a fresh Crispy Boy or go into the bathroom with these on and have no disconnection issues. I have not tested further than about 30 yards. Feel & Comfort: Much more comfortable that my Cloud2 set. Even with glasses, they are still very comfortable, which is the main problem I have with most gaming headsets. Light weight but still snug. No annoyance or irritation after a long gaming session. Features: Most notable feature to me is the volume control on the set. The dial is larger, which I like and has a more tactile feel, as compared to other sets. What I Don’t Love: Please be aware - this issue is probably just a tech issue on my end. I am unable to get sound through my desk speakers when I have the USB dongle plugged in. Even when I have the headset turned off!! I have to unplug the USB dongle from my computer in order to get sound on my desk speakers. Again, this is probably just a sound setting that I need to look at and tweak. TLDR: Got to my door super quick. Reasonable price for wireless. Looks great. Feels great. Sounds great. Mic works well. Battery lasts for at least 25 hours. Really comfortable.

The receiver is great and I can walk outside of my apartment to my porch at the back of my apartment and have a conversation from my PC which is in my bedroom! The microphone provides good sound and noise cancelling. Audio from the mic is clear, not muffled or muddy sounding, and adequately loud. The quality of the sound is quite good. They are not audiophile quality in sound (headsets like that cost much more), but definite far above the "cheap" sounding headphones I have tried. These DO NOT have boomy, boxy, watery, or tinny sound. The sound is rich and full. I have used them to listen to music and to chat and in both circumstances they quite good. The battery life is AMAZING. I can charge them and use them for chat for an exceptionally long time. I am very satisfied with this headset. They are worth the money. You will not get this kind of performance, either with a mic or sound, from headsets that cost $50 or less. They are priced fairly considering their excellent performance and extreme battery life, and may actually be worth much more. **Q: Does the battery wear out if you charge it over night, does the battery stop letting you charge at full?**

HyperX Cloud Flight automatically stops charging when battery reaches a full charge, even with charging cable attached.  Our internal testing has shown no evidence of battery degradation with the charging cable connected for extended periods of time.  Cloud Flight can function up to 30 hours (with headset LED lights turned off) on a full charge, not 50 hours. **Q: When using the 3.5 mm cable, the headset can only be used as headphones, correct (i.e. the microphone won't work)?**
A: Hello David,
HyperX Cloud Flight headset microphone and volume adjustment controls are functional only when the headset is paired to the USB wireless adapter in wireless operation.  Neither microphone or headset volume adjustments work in wired configuration using the 3.5mm cable.  Thank you.

**Q: Does this headest work for xbox one?**
A: Sorry but Kingston is wrong about the Flights working on the Xbox One. You can use the included 3.5mm cable and ug into your controller or headset adapter . You do lose chat functionality and control 9f the volume wheel however. Or you can do what I did and have full chat on the Xbox One. I used the V-Moda Boompro microphone and plugged that into where the 3.5mm cable goes. Now I have crystal clear chat and full use of the Flights on my Xbox One. Also the headset is much louder than when it is used wirelessly.

**Q: If i were to put the bluetooth usb in my ps4 and run an aux cord to my pc, could I hear my party chat aswell as speak to them, while hearing pc audio?**

HyperX Cloud Flight headset based on RF (Radio Frequency) wireless connectivity, not bluetooth technology.  Cloud Flight can only connect to one host device at a time.  Either attach Flight USB wireless adapter to PS4 to use headset on game console, or move USB adapter to PC to listen PC audio.  Cloud Flight does not work with USB adapter connected to PS4 and separate PC auxiliary cord attached to the headset.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best for someone who is only moving around a relatively small space and playing for no more than a couple hours a day.

Overall fairly good, but a few things are annoying/frustrating. In my opinion, this would be best for someone who is only moving around a relatively small space (an apartment) and playing for only a couple hours a day. Pros: * As delightfully comfortable as the corded HyperX options - lightweight, soft cups, just enough pressure to keep it securely on without giving you a headache or making your glasses dig into your head. * Sound quality is great. * Controls are fairly easy to feel and use rather than being a chore to fumble and distinguish as some headsets can be. Mehs: *No indicator for muted/transmitting mic so you can't see if you're transmitting or not while wearing them, you just have to remember whether it beeped once or twice when you pushed the mute button. *I'd really love an option to convert the mute/unmute button to a push to talk button. I don't want to transmit all my conversations with my spouse to my gaming group so I usually have push to talk set up, but that means when I'm on a bio break or getting a drink or whatever, I can still hear my group, but I can't reach my push to talk key to reply to someone - the ability to hold the mute/unmute button to give a quick reply while afk without having to change my push to talk setting to open mic every time I walked away from the computer would be amazing. * More of a wireless headset issue in general than a specific to this set one, but something to keep in mind if you're deciding between some corded and some uncorded headsets - since it's got its own usb plugin and is its own sound device rather than plugging into another sound device as a corded headset might plug into speakers, when it dies you have to change the sound device settings in your computer to use a backup method or when switching between say a headset for raids and speakers for solo gaming rather than just toggling between headset and speakers or plugging and unplugging an audiojack in. Cons: *Range is just ok, a touch farther would be better I can get around 20 feet away no problem, but when I'm, say, letting my dogs out mid raid and still wanting to hear the plan for the next boss, it cuts out if I take the last few steps so that I can actually supervise the dogs while they're out there, which is putting me only 30 feet away. That cuts out a large chunk of the functionality aspect that made wireless important for me. *No battery level or charge level indicators. It occasionally beeps and I think that means low battery, but that gives me no idea how long I've really got. * So far the battery life has not lived up to promises for me and that's mostly without even having the mic attached, so all it's worrying about is sound. (or it's possible the issue isn't technically battery life, but could be that perhaps it just requires super long recharge times that aren't realistic if you game a lot...no idea since there's no way to tell how full the battery is). It had charged for over 12 hours plugged into a fast charge USB port. It lasted only 6 hours and then died while I was still in discord after raid. That's less than half its shortest promised battery life option. This combined with the lack of battery level indicator is the biggest problem I've had so far. Edit to add: I forgot that the LED lighting setting isn't remembered, it's default on unless you turn it off every time you turn the headset on, so if you want to have the longest battery light possible, be ready to click several times every time you turn it on.
