Sturdy
Very good hinges. Used them to install a 10ft double privacy fence gate

flimsy and too light for size
Bent under the weight of the lid they were bought for

Solid, easy to install
These are solid hinges. Its not in the description but them material thickness (with coating) is 0.01", and the screws are actually lag bolts, 5/16" x 2.2". Tad bit long for putting into a 2x4 or 2x6 without pushing out the far side, but good if going into a post. I planned to mount 3 on my gate, but 2 are more than adequate, so I have 4 left over. Easy to mount if you have a drill and a driver. I do suggest pre-drilling the holes to prevent splits. They are good looking hinges, no complaints. I'd buy again if needed, but I still have plenty.
