This is a great all-around plane. It looks super cool on the ground and in the air. True 3D enthusiasts would say it's too heavy. It is heavier than my other 3D planes BUT my super light planes require verry still air to enjoy flying. This plane will hover, knife edge and invert as easy as any 3D plane I own and can be flown in less-than-ideal conditions. It will also fly like a traditional sport plane reasonably well. It has massive rudder, aileron and elevator authority. It's great for flying in small places, you can hand launch and land this unit in a single parking spot. It is not a fast plane, and the flight time is a little short but will do a 10-minute+ flight using 850ma 3S pack if throttled conservatively. Using a 2S pack would fly but not ideal.

Good flyin Foamy plane. Excellent at tricks. Has its own flight characteristics, so don't fly it low like your normal cruiser until you get used to the way it flys. I used some packing tape on nose so it wouldn't dent if it hit anything. Also changed the wheels to a slightly larger plastic size for my landing area.

This plane taught me how to fly 3-D. I never thought I would learn to fly 3-D. I always flew slower, flying planes like timbers, cubs, the radians, conscendo. But this plane will teach you how to fly 3-D. It’s so light it barely weighs anything.

Been flying for years and have had numerous flat foamie planes. Many were depron or some other foam so having foam safe CA and an accelerant that was foam safe was key for minor repairs. I'm talking about when I was hovering it on the prop and the wind caught it and it flipped onto it's wing - wingtip only. Replacement parts are so easy to come by - get some flat carbon fiber spars and CA and stickers or tape and you'll be fine. Won't be a pretty, but still flies until you are ready for the hanger queen. Assembly took maybe 20 minutes - lots of screws, adjusting and connecting push rods. I picked up the BNF and binding to me NX8 was easy. I tried binding in safe and it works, just not my style. I haven't fussed with flight modes, but the receiver and radio will do it so it's just time. Flying characteristics - watch some videos. The 600 mAh pack is light, very light and it wants to fly that way. Any wind - throw on the 850 and go further forward with the battery and it will fly like it is on rails. No bad traits, it's flat so there is no weird coupling. Knife edge requires almost no input, inverted harriers are so easy, regular are too but it locks in inverted way better. Tons of power on a 3S batt - BNF has a 15A esc, 9x4 prop and it's fine... It'll take off out of your hand, within feet on the ground and land in a short distance or plop. Great plane - a tad on the higher end, but everything is vetted - screw it together and bind. I could have bought at a hobby shop and been flying in under 30 minutes, nice!! RF has the model in it's sim - flys a tad lighter, needs more weight or the wing surface area on the sim seemed too large in comparison to real life. Would recommend, with the plane and all electronics - kind of a no brainer..
