The tripod features adjustable leg stops allowing the legs to be independently locked into place at 3 different angles for shooting in cramped quarters, on uneven surfaces or at ground level. The legs open to allow the photographer to work at virtually ground level for ultra low level shots.A reversible centre column allows for additional shooting flexibility and angles, and the grooved column design eliminates unwanted column rotation. Well built. Padded case is excellent, and has plenty of spare room at the top to allow for a large ball head. Hook at bottom of central column retracts when not in use. The central column can be reversed (camera upside down and below tripod), but it cannot be set at any angle. The aluminium tubing is thick and the two extensions are equally stable; click locks has a good tension from the factory and the smart three-point angle selector works wonderfully.I'm working with heavy old pro gear (Nikon F4, F5, 80-200mm 2.8 AF) and this tripod seems to be extremely stable with the BH0 ball head mounted - even loaded with 4 kg of gear it seems top sturdy.
