"Where has Fila Brazillia gone?" While official news of the electronic duo's demise may prove shocking to some, co-founder Steve Cobby has been in pursuit of something greater, starting with the creation of Steel Tiger Records in late 2006. Having over 45 singles, 16 full length releases, and remixes for artists such as Radiohead and Black Uhuru under the belt, this was the next logical step in the progression of Cobby's career. Steel Tiger Records is the brainchild of Cobby and long-time Sheffield-based compatriot Sim Lister. The two had previously partnered on numerous ventures, including Twentythree Records [with David McSherry other half of Fila Brazillia] - the label responsible for the release of Fila Brazillia's final projects. Additionally, Cobby and Lister are two-thirds of Heights of Abraham - with vocalist and composer Jake Harries - and continue to produce music together as the duo J*S*T*A*R*S*; also known for a John Lewis ad campaign in the UK. With these two talents combined, Steel Tiger Records promises an abundance of fresh sounds that past Fila Brazillia fans will find both satisfying and addictive. About the Artist A testament to shared aspirations, the electronic duo known as The Cutler reunites Steve Cobby - of Fila Brazillia; J*S*T*A*R*S*; Heights of Abraham and otherwise known as The Solid Doctor - with the man partially responsible for the success of Fila Brazillia, Dave "Porky" Brennand. Brennand made his mark on the European music scene after forming the UK-based indie label Pork Recordings in 1991 and has released over 100 singles and albums to date. "Porky bestows his own brand of musical sensibilities as part of The Cutler duo," says Cobby. Brennand adds,"The success of Fila Brazillia was a glimpse into the future that is with us now." See more Review: COBBY STRIKES AGAIN! - I'M IN! beautifully constructed beats and symphonies. Steve Cobby one half of Fila Brazillia, AKA The Solid Doctor and half of 'The Cutler' didn't let me down with this well crafted construction of beats and colourful melodies. I think next on the list is buying others by Steve Cobby as himself. But then I always knew I would like anything this guy puts together. If you know of or like Fila Brazillia then check out his other stuff. You may digg it. Cobby has the rare ability to almost simplify music whilst making it unusual and surreal. I haven't found this with any other producer. Review: top notch! - Fantastic album!!! I hate to say it (as it sort of discredits the freshness of this album when really it shouldn't) but it sounds like the perfect continuation of the Fila Brazillia sound after Cobby/McSherry (officially? unofficially?) disbanded. But with Pork's added edge. The King is dead, long lives the King!

Top drawer
Simply one of the best 'undiscovered' albums of recent years - I thought no one could hold a candle to Underworld but along came Cutler and they did! Its a permanent addition to my Zen. If you like your music DJ then this is about as good as it gets.

The green green grass of homegrown...
Face it, when the guy who masterminded Pork Recordings gets together with its most creative musician it's not going to be average. Put simply this is 62 minutes of ubercool music, if you loved Pork Recordings this is for you. Buyer remorse will not be an issue...
