Belffin Modular Sectional Sofa with Ottomans Velvet Reversible Sleeper Chaise Bed Storage Seat Black

I absolutely love this sofa. The firmness is just right, and the velvet has a beautiful, premium feel. Assembly was straightforward, and I was pleasantly surprised that it included an extra ottoman and back cushion. The blue colour is also stunning and adds a great touch to the space. The only minor drawback is that it sits a bit lower than some of my other sofas. At 5’5”, it’s perfectly comfortable for me, but I can see how someone taller might find it less ideal when sitting with their feet flat on the floor. That said, this can easily be addressed by swapping in taller legs. I also really appreciate the upgrade that removes the hydraulic hinges. It makes the pieces more flexible to arrange without worrying about orientation, and the ability to remove and wash the covers is a major plus. Overall, the build quality, comfort, and appearance are all excellent, easily 5 stars. I would highly recommend it.

I purchased the sleeper sofa - 3 configuration in Navy Blue Velvet which comes with 9 seats, 9 backs, and 9 pillows. The versatility of being able to adjust the configuration at ease based on your need is phenomenal, the velvet is soft and beautiful, and the kids and I love this couch both for comfort and aesthetic appeal. I specifically chose this model because of the adjustable arm/backs allowing a bit more of a reclined angle when having movie night and I have no regrets thus far. I know some have mentioned concerns with stability of the arm/back over time but unless someone uses it outside of it’s intended use I don’t see an issue with stability. That said, one of the huge selling points for me on this couch as a parent of 2 children who also has 3 cats and 2 dogs, is the ability to purchase individual sections if something catastrophic should happened that I couldn’t resolve with a good cleaner. This includes the ability to purchase replacement arm/back sections without buying a whole new couch if one of the kids abuses the existing one and breaks it. I don’t anticipate this, and would expect Belffin to replace if it were a manufacturing defect but with kids accidents do happen at no fault of the manufacturer and being able to replace specific pieces without investing in a full replacement gives me piece of mind. Assembly is minimal, simply attach the feet (twist on by hand), and attach the connectors for the back/arm unit with the provided screwdriver. Speaking of - I absolutely love when a manufacturer includes ALL items necessary for assembly, Belffin had a full size screwdriver in every box, and as a bonus each screwdriver can be flipped from phillips head (used for assembly) to flat head. It’s the little things like this, along with a quality product, that I appreciate and make me come back to a brand time and again. That said, I do have three minor suggestions for Belffin, one is shipping related so may be entirely outside of their control but hey it’s worth mentioning. 1st - Please add some handle slots to your boxes, my shipment came with 9 middle units and the size of the box made it extremely awkward to get a good grip without handles. Disclaimer - I am a 40 year old woman, though 5’9” so my arms aren’t particularly short. 2nd - It would have been wonderful to have these boxes delivered closer to my door. UPS delivered all 9 boxes to the middle of my driveway, on the side of my house, roughly 75 feet from the closest entry door. This is certainly what prompted the recommendation for handles on the boxes. I fully expected to have to get the boxes inside on my own, but I did not anticipate carrying 9 - 52lb boxes that distance to reach the door. If the shipper could ensure delivery within 10 feet of an entry, handles may not be quite as necessary, but since you were thoughtful enough to include quality screwdrivers, I thought you may appreciate the feedback and consider adding reinforced handles. 3rd - Last is just a suggestion for accessories to offer. When attaching the feet I wondered if other furniture feet would also fit - I think having the option to purchase alternate foot styles is something consumers would appreciate as the style of the couch is very versatile and swapping the feet would elevate the look even more. I’d also love to see a tray or “table” accessory made to fit the dimensions of a seat/ottoman. I can purchase a generic ottoman tray easily, but would love one fit to the dimensions of my seats. Recommendations aside, we love this couch and I am so glad I made this purchase!! Thank you Belffin! I’ll update with a photo shortly.

I rarely write product reviews, but I like this couch so much I am compelled to let others know how versatile - and what a great value this couch is. First, because there are no arms on any of the pieces, you can configure it in a variety of ways to suit your space or your needs. When we first put it together (which took a couple of hours by the time we unboxed, read the directions etc.) we used a full pit configuration which was really fun for lounging around for the holidays. We experimented with taking out two inner sections, one we used as an ottoman in our dressing room and the other we were able to fashion into a chair/window seat. Second, every single section opens up to provide a massive amount of storage for blankets and extra pillows. This also provides an unexpected advantage when it comes to cleaning. We have a dog so when I vacuumed off the couch I could get down into the crevices very easily. Speaking of pets, while the cushion covers cannot be removed for washing ( but the back pillows can) it vacuums up really well and seems to resist stains. Third, I really like that I can adjust the back sections of the couch. Fully reclined the piece has a more casual look while all straight up looks more formal Overall I would say this piece of furniture is a very good value as it feels like a quality piece of furniture. The only caution would be to those who prefer a very soft, cushy couch. This couch is more firm but still very comfortable in my opinion.

Great couch for the price, perfect for my little space at the cabin, and outstanding customer service. I added two additional back/side pieces to be able to turn this into a big sectional. I accidentally ordered the ones from the previous version but they still worked and matched fine. It's not the best at anything it does - there are more comfortable, more attractive couches. But none of them are at this price point, can fit any space, with integrated storage, and great customer service and easy assembly. So it's an easy 5-star purchase. Be aware that some parts ship from California and some from Florida, so you will probably get it in multiple deliveries. FedEx was even more awful than usual with this delivery but that's hardly the couch's fault.

I've had this sofa for a couple of months now and it looks brand new despite being the absolute favorite resting place for my two Old English Sheepdogs. Their hair and dirty paw prints vacuum off easily. This was exceptional value for the money both for the wonderful fabric and it's overall comfort both for lounging or sleeping. The cushions are firm without being uncomfortable and the storage under each cushion is a huge plus. It is so easy to reconfigure and move around. I have received so many compliments from friends and family who want to know where I purchased it. I would strongly recommend this sofa for pet owners who want a beautiful yet durable sofa.

First of all, this couch shipped so frickin’ fast. I ordered it just before noon on Wednesday, 12/30, and Amazon said it should arrive Monday. Well, I woke up *the next day* and had a notification that it was out for delivery! It got delivered just after 3pm - a 27.5 hr turnaround, on a holiday, no less! While this was exciting, it did give me momentary panic about what to do with my existing living room furniture, especially since I wasn’t sure if my local transfer station was even open to dispose of things on New Year’s Eve. As far as assembly, putting it together was super easy. I am a small-average sized, able-bodied woman in my mid-30s, and it took me about 2.5 hours to get it assembled by myself. Honestly, probably 2/3 of that time was spent getting everything out of the boxes, and the actual assembly only took 45min to 1hr. Seriously, 30 hours after ordering a couch, it was set up in my living room and ready for use. All the legs just twisted into place, arm/back pieces just needed 4 screws each to attach brackets that connect them to the seat bases, and the seat-to-seat connection bits just popped into place (some required a little finesse to get lined up just right, but that’s ok. Less likely to come apart on their own!). As a bonus, each of the 9 separate boxes came with a full-size reversible head screwdriver, so now I can perform crude lobotomies on all of my heathen friends, AND give them each a souvenir to commemorate the event! Now, onto the couch itself. I was in search of either 2 couches or 1 L-shaped sectional to fit into my current space that could work with my existing coffee/end tables. The couch in question either needed to be mostly machine-washable or be very easy to spot clean, AND be resistant to damage from both dogs and cats, as we have 2 dogs and 5 cats. I also hoped for a lower-profile couch, since at least part of it would be in front of a window. The dimensions of this couch could not be more perfect - it is about 2” from the max length I had to work with in either direction, when accounting for two end tables. There’s room for my girlfriend, myself, and all seven of our pets to sprawl out, and then some. We have it in a 6-seater configuration with one ottoman/chaise, but more people could definitely cram on for a game night if need be. While it is not machine-washable, it is very easy to wipe clean, and seems water-resistant enough to handle even extra dirty pet messes like puke/pee, which is bound to happen from time to time. I love the dark green color, and the “velvet” texture is short and smooth, almost like a micro suede feel, so while it does attract pet hair, it doesn’t grab onto it, making it very easy to vacuum or even wipe fur off. I dabbed a dog drool spot off this morning with a damp rag. Since there aren’t any loops of thread, it should hold up well to cat scratch damage, and if the cats do damage the arms over time, it would take 5 minutes to swap the damaged arm out with a back piece and have it look as good as new again. Unlimited free refills! I was afraid the couch would look like it belonged in a dorm room, but I am pleased with how it looks in person. It’s definitely not fancy, but homegirl has 5 cats and allows dogs on the furniture. If I needed fancy, I would be living a different life. The under-seat storage is not fully stocked yet, but so far has provided ample space for our absurd stash of dog/cat toys and throw blankets. The couch seats are extremely firm, which is really the only reason I have docked a star from my rating. I would honestly have preferred something much more cushioned, but finding the dimensions I needed was proving to be a challenge, especially needing something so easy to clean and under $2k. They do have some bounce to them, so I am hoping they will soften up a bit with use. I’ll update my review in a few months to report back. Right now it feels more like a waiting room couch, or upholstered dining room furniture, than a couch to relax on. The back/side cushions are much softer, and the semi-reclining backs do make it easier to lounge comfortably. Just note that you do need to have enough space to fully extend the reclining piece in order to click it back into an upright position - so plan to have it about 5-6” away from the wall/other furniture if you’re using that feature.

I was a little nervous about ordering such a large piece of furniture online, but it turned out to be one of my best Amazon purchases. My friends have already asked where I bought this couch. The couch completely transformed our living room. The deep navy blue color looks even better in person, and the modular design made it easy to arrange exactly how we wanted. Assembly was much easier than I expected. Everything arrived in good condition, the instructions were straightforward, and putting all the sections together was pretty simple. The fabric feels soft and looks much more expensive than the actual price. I also appreciate how spacious it is. There is plenty of room for everyone to stretch out, and the modular pieces make it easy to customize the layout. The included ottoman is a great bonus, and we have used it as an extra seating option. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable, and affordable modular sectional that makes a statement in your living room, I highly recommend this one.

We purchased this in July 2024 and have used it as our main sofa. There are many things we love about it (that we can rearrange the pieces, that it offers LOTS of storage for our blankies, sofa pillows and 50,000 books I think I need in the living room at all times 😂, and offers plenty of seating when family and friends visit). Initially it was very comfortable, the cushions were supportive but not too firm (I enjoyed making a mini-bed in the corner and was quite comfy while watching many a Hallmark movie). But within 10 months, the cushions began sagging on the edges to the point that you could feel the board underneath. We keep rotating the pieces to try to lengthen the life of the sofa, but there's no way it will last another year. We're quite disappointed because it wasn't cheap and we really like it, but we wouldn't buy it again.
