Not bad but not great
I have been using the Al Kitaab series before I enrolled in a class that uses this book. Iโm Not a huge fan because I donโt feel like this book sets you up as well to understand the grammar, important verbs, etc. I think the picture can be helpful and it does start the patterns early on but overall I would not necessarily pick this for a personal study resource.

Very bad knowledge design
As an Arab myself who has lived abroad most of my life. I know Arabic (basics), of course I know how to read, speak, and write. I wanted to strengthen my bases. But the book dedicates 120 pages for 28 letters. Something that ANY book can do in 3 pages, itโs extremely exaggeratedly basic. And then it suddenly jumps to very advanced verbs forms without any prior information that shouldnโt be in Arabic 1 but Arabic 3. So this book is very bad designed. Going from extremely slow and boring to extremely difficult with no required info in the middle

Arabic is super difficult and no matter what tools we use to learn it, it won't get any easier. This book, however, makes it a bit nicer though
