JULIUS-K9 IDC Powerharness, L, no pull dog harness, Black

Great fit my dog (22kg for reference for size L) - the size chart was helpful. Comfy fit, doesn’t rub him. Held up well walking through the mountains and easy to get on and off whilst being secure enough to stay on the dog - use the handle to pick him up into the car, very sturdy. Looks good

We currently have three dogs, a medium sized 7 year old adult rescue cross, a full grown male German shepherd and now we have bought one for our 7 month old German shepherd x St Bernard. We first bought one when our adult male was a puppy and saw him through a few sizes. Our puppy had smaller cheaper harnesses, mainly due to the fact I knew because of her breed she would rapidly outgrown them. Now that she is getting bigger I thought it was a good time to get the harness on her. What I like about these is the versatility. There are so many colour options out there and available. The sizes overlap so you don’t have to be in that awkward is it this size or this size position. And the Velcro labels mean you can communicate with others. We’ve found it hard when you have a cute little puppy that’s training to keep people from squealing and coming towards them. Our puppy we have at the moment was a rescue and came from serious neglect and has needed a lot of training, so while I encourage people to say hello, I need it to be done on her terms so a nice “please ask before you pet” label will be spot on for her. Likewise my adult male uses an “anxious, do not pet” label because that’s what he needs. I also like the handle on their back. Perfect for reaching down and having that extra hold on them in certain situations. I’ve used it with my medium size dog to pick him up quickly countless times. The D ring on ours have all been metal - I can imagine if the D ring is plastic and you have a big dog or one that pulls that it won’t last very long! These are sturdy and well built with quality materials. I’ve seen some knock off versions and they very quickly start to look like the fabric or Velcro is wearing. I think these are a must, particularly if you have a big dog. Our oldest dog doesn’t use this as what we connect him to when walking, but he wears one so I have the extra handle to grab hold of and the labels asking people to leave him alone. The only thing I’d say with these is I found my older German shepherd became a puller and he liked the “drag” walking with a harness gave him, so when we trained him not to pull we used an alternative method. If you’re looking for a harness, julius k9 harnesses are the way to go.

So far really good! My lab actually loves this harness, 1st time he looks excited when he sees it 😂. Super easy to put on and seems more comfortable for my big boy! In my opinion the harness reduces pulling when out on a walk so we’re giving it 5 ⭐️ Oh and he looks mega handsome in it 😎

I've had this over 2 years now. I've waited this length of time time to tell you how it wears. It is great. I've got a Border Terror, sorry Terrier called Fred and he's field tested it to the limit and it keeps coming back for more. If your dog isn't called Julius this is an easy fix (see photo) Velcro name strips about 6 quid on eBay. One clip fit, you "lasso" the dog and clip it on. After a little practice you can do it one handed ! Adjust it once then forget, clip has never moved. Wipes clean and so strong, Fred often rubs it along brick walls. Not the cheapest but IMO the best. I've read reports of dogs pulling forwards out of them, but Fred has never managed it and trust me, he can pull suddenly and with great force when he sees a squirrel, cat or fox ! 5 stars

This is a repeat purchase, the first one got rather shredded, he is a puppy, well that's his excuse anyway. Now he is a good(ish) boy & has worked out that harness on means going out so we bought this one. Good harnesses, nice & snug & size wise fits him a treat in the S/Mini, he is a 10k cockerpoo. I like that I can fix his lead to the harness on his back & to his collar(I use a double clip lead) for safety & if I need to reel him in a bit I can use the lead attached to the harness so as not to pull on his neck. Excellent quality, well made & a good range of colours. Recommended.
