Metal plating came off into the powder

ZERO STARS!!! I won’t buy this one again. As I take many prescription meds, I wanted this for a pill 💊 mill/crusher for larger tablets. I didn’t ask for the flakes of cheap metal finish in the second use. Pass. Hard pass. Zero Stars. Do not buy for FOOD OR MEDICAL use, imho.

This is a substantial mechanical beast of a grinder designed to produce spice powder. You have to start with already coarsely ground particles, and this will then transform them into powder as fine a flour. So, if you normally use a mortar and pestle to get a rough grind, this will take it the rest of the way to powder state. Freshly ground spices are always to be preferred over the canned stuff you get in the grocery store. The difference in the taste of the food is astounding. I put some coriander seeds into the basket to show what NOT to do. I would say this is just for occasional use, since it would take quite a while to produce any volume of spice powder with it. Furthermore, it's a bit tricky to assemble when you have coarse spice in the basket. But it's very well made of turned aluminum.

Generally speaking it works however the handle is so small that it makes it hard to geind large quantities. They should include an extension to ease the use

I had to keep grinding salt in it as first use deposited metal along with the material. However after running a bunch of salt through it stopped eventually. But overall pretty cheaply made

Not eady to use, disappointed.
