Star Wars Darth Vader

I haven't quite finished this particular model but finding it's just as good as the others i've built. I've built 3 other of these cardstock models and have at least a half dozen+ in my stash because i like them so much. There appear to be two predominant brands, 4D Build and 4D CityScape. They're very similar in design but the 4D Build kits have the piece numbers printed on each piece whereas the one 4D CityScape I built didn't have the part number printed on each piece so once it's punched out, there's no way to tell what the piece number is. All the kits i've done are star wars themed and come out looking very very good. The kits are pretty straight forward but will likely need adult assistance for kids under 15-ish. If you can put together Ikea type furniture, these should be doable for you, but if you can't assemble ikea furniture, these may not be for you. Special tools aren't required but can help significantly with assembly and having a better finished product. Special tools range from long tweezers, fine scissors, nippers, razor knife, etc. Toothpicks come in handy if you're using the glue. I found that Elmers glue works as well. Most of them come with a small tube of glue, but I've found that none of them really needed any glue assuming it's going to be a static model that's not played with. If it's going to be played with, glueing on some pieces would be recommended. Heavy play is probably not recommended or it will eventually get beat up, crushed, torn, wrinkled, although it is a very sturdy model when finished. I've found this Tie Fighter is probably the easiest I've done so far and would be a good starter kit especially since it's one of the cheaper kits. The R2D2 model was slightly more complicated but builds into a fine looking replica about 12" high and was fairly priced at $20. I've been significantly impressed with each kit that I've built regarding how well they were designed/engineered for strength, assembly, and an impressive finished product. Very fun. Can even be therapeutic with punching out all the pieces. Highly recommended.

it looks amazing and the instructions are easy to follow, it comes with glue and a tool to take out the little pieces but i found more useful to use a clip. The engines are really tricky to assemble so be careful in that part. It was really fun and it took me around 7 hours to assemble it by myself

This is a great product for someone who is collecting Star Wars. It is detailed and functional as an addition to any collectors series. I would buy this again just because it can be a collectable. It arrived quick and timely already put together so no time consuming product.

Its a fun creative build. R2d2 was awful though, both in build and appearance. Its a really good size and looks pretty decent, problem being all the tabs stick out visibly, ruining any semblance of an accurate display piece. Speaking of the tabs, they destroy the 'durability' they advertised by the tabs themselves bending too easily, making it more difficult to put together and stay in place. Overall, I'd say it's better to build than to display. Its large and decent enough looking If you dont care about the tabs or gaps

I’m honestly blown away by this set! The level of detail is incredible, and you can really tell that every piece was designed with care. Putting it together is super satisfying, and the finished model looks amazing—so polished and realistic. If you love building things that are both fun and beautiful, this set is definitely worth it!

Absolute 5-stars!!! These sets are genuinely the best. They are very easy to assemble and look awesome when on display. Currently I have the Star Destroyer and the Venator side-by-side hung up by fishing like and they look magnificent. I also have the Death Star, X-Wing, Millennium Falcon, R2-D2, and Tie Fighter too and they all look super detailed. I didn’t have to use glue for any of them and found that they hold up really well on their own. The assembly process can take some time but it’s very fun and for how cheap these sets are they are genuinely the best Star Wars decoration apart from the LEGO sets. HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who like model-making and might not want to shell out hundreds for the Lego sets.

Challenging but a very intuitive design. The directions are easy to understand and the models themselves are of sturdy materials and super cool designs. This is a great gift to give or receive!

Was ok to build. I used glue gun to keep together. One part I had on wrong was the piece that has the round platform that goes on the middle of the top and bottom of ship where the turrets go on. The top side has all the cut outs and it wasn't clear on the instruction manual so I ended up having it flipped where the cutouts were on the bottom. Because I couldn't backtrack a few steps to fix it I therefore glued the part in and had to glue the turrets on. Over all was fun to do.

Incredible detail. The instrutions are clear and easy to follow. It's not an easy build, but it is fun. The kids love it, and the older kids too!
