Now the original thing from another world is a straight forward monster movie. With a few intriguing moments. But the John Carpenter remake with Kurt Russell is the better movie, having the monster being a Lovecraftian horror by giving it the ability to mimic anything it devours or infects. Paranoia and tension are big parts of setting the atmosphere and suspense. The gore and special effects are awesome and still hold up today. The prequel is an unappreciated entry by telling the story of the research crew who found the alien in the first film and giving us a awesome final girl in Kate Lloyd being a Ellen Ripley successor. Now the cgi was a bit distracting but I still enjoyed.

Buenas edición de películas en dvd vale totalmente la pena, todas las películas cuentan con subtitulos al español y la última de Thing del 2011 sie cuenta con doblaje al español latino

Three great movies all in one collection. The Thing from the 80's is one of my favorite sci fi/horror movies. The one from 2015 was also great. It had the same feeling as the 80's movie.

3 exciting sci-fi movies. The classic 1950's version of the THING is a mix of comedy and action. One of the 50's classics. The second movie is the John CARPENTER remake in the 1980's with more emphasis on horror and special effects. It is still a cult classic. The last film is a sort of prequel about what happened before the John CARPENTER version. It adds more special effects and mystery. Overall, a very good collection.
