Super Easy to Use
Wow, funny name but this stuff really works awesome! I had a highly cosmetic zinc investment casting for a point of purchase display that went wrong and I was able to 100% fix the issue and save the parts! Super easy to use. Blends with the zinc so well that I can't even find the places I fixed to be able to brag about it! Stunning results in seconds! I wish it came in smaller diameter tho. Going to run these thru a pull plate to get them down to a size suitable for my work piece without so much waste

Ez peazy
Had a pin hole leak in a pewter Dragon flask. Using a 25 watt soldering iron, fluxing both iron and around the hole in the flask. I gathered a bead of the alloy onto the iron, and placed it over the hole. Held it there until flux changed colour. Alloy flowed, patch complete. Filed down and you can hardly tell the flask has a patch.

good stuff
I was trying to secure galvanized pipe I bought to ordinary steel plate. I used the enclosed flux to wet the surface of the steel plate and coated it using a torch with 50/50 solder. Then I coated the galvanized pipe with the same flux and heated it. Put a tin coat of super alloy 1 solder on it and mixed it with the 50/50 solder. Seemed to secure it well.

Doesn't work
Had high hopes for this product but it just doesn't work. Won't stick to material regardless of how you prep, heat, flux, etc. Followed instructions but it was no use. Don't waste your time or money on this stuff.

Flux is key
Be sure to practice heating the rod before making an actual repair... the rod tended to melt off in small pieces rather than "flowing" onto the repair area. Using plenty of Flux ( as stated in the provided instructions) will help the rod flow into small gaps in the repair area. The instructions correctly state that the Flux will turn blackish if too much heat is applied. I used dish soap and a toothbrush under warm water and it cleaned easily. I used a heat gun to warm the repair area prior to using propane torch to add the rod for repair...highly reccomended.

Works as advertised. With a little practice, all is ggod.

Expensive- low melting point
Expensive, long delivery time, didn’t quite work in my hands for brazing… probably needed TIG for my project. Your mileage may vary

That the solder filled the gap.
I really liked the product.i bought a scraper for cutting out the inside of boxes made on a wood lathe.it didn't come with a handle,so I made a handle on the lathe.i molded a piece of brass to fit around the metal tang.it wasn't closed all the way,and it keep the handle from splitting,so there ya go i used the muggy weld and sealed the brass together wonderful job.
