I've used this with a mix of majicontrast magenta and a 3% peroxide** A: I got a more plum type shade of the magenta when I tried that. If your hair is a level 6 or lighter use a 6%. If your hair is a bit darker (it will lift a bit) or you want it really bright, use a 9%.
