This light bulb worked very good on my microwave.

A longer than usual wait for an Amazon order and I had to pay shipping - otherwise perfect.
The microwave bulb arrived in an extremely well protected package and in perfect condition. Installation was a breeze and the new bulb appears to be brighter. My only problem was getting the 3 tamper proof screws out of the back of the microwave cover. I had to resort to pliares to remove the screws, since I didn't have the proper screwdriver with a hole in the tip. It was a long wait for the package to arrive but worth the wait. Now we have an as-good-as-new microwave.

This is the one.
Works perfectly in our 20-year old microwave model MCD11E3W. Just inspect your chassis screws in the back before you start the replacement -- mine were Torx "tamper resistant" security screws, not just regular philips, and needed the right bit. (Torx with a hole in the middle. Might have been T8 or T10, not sure.) Once you're inside you disconnect 2 leads (take a picture,) and then the light/base just lifts off of 2 posts when you press a holding clip backward.

OEM replacement for my Sharp Carousel
Exact replacement for my 3 year old Sharp Carousel. Oddly, the others I found here on Amazon recommended for my Sharp, have straight QC tabs (not right angle tabs) which won't fit with the short wiring on my unit. I would have given 5 stars, but I hate paying $11 for a $2 lamp only because it has a custom base. I have a hunch that many people just live with the burned out bulb.
