At one point, following an illness, I ended up getting chronic mouth ulcers (I’m talking 20-30 at a time, covering my entire mouth, tongue, back of throat etc) and I tried everything for years. The doctors told me to see my dentist, the dentist told me to see my doctor. The only thing that gave me any relief was changing toothpaste - I read an article online that SLS is a major irritant and can be the cause of mouth ulcers in someone who is sensitive to it. It may be that the virus I had just burnt out eventually, but I believe switching to an SLS free toothpaste was too coincidental, and even when I’ve used a different toothpaste, I’ve noticed a few ulcers creeping back. This toothpaste is fresh, tastes great and leaves me feeling clean for hours. I drink a lot of black coffee and have no problems with stains - my teeth always feels clean and my teeth are white. I do use an electric toothbrush, which also may help, but like I said, when I’ve switched back to supermarket brands, my teeth haven’t felt as clean. It works out great value when you purchase in a bulk multipack, and I know I have a good stash so I never have to go back to any other brand.
