Bad quality, shaky and loose.

So I read many less than positive reviews and wondered if it was mostly operator error or truly a poor product. So out of curiosity and need, I ordered since the price was low and Amazon has great return policies. I received the lock set and checked it out before installing and it looked and felt like good quality. I felt confident that it would work just fine. I installed it. Took mere minutes. Everything went well. Lock works great. Key works great(three keys come with it). The latch is easily adjustable for the two common door lock backset spacing. The locking tab on the inside of the door can be set to either be locked or unlocked when vertical and visa versa. Just look inside the inside handle and hold the flange while rotating the knob to the way you want the tab to be oriented. I think the poor reviews were based upon operator error. The latch has the standard anti lock picking mechanism so a credit card can’t open the door. The key is pretty simple so I’m guessing an experienced lock picker would not have much trouble but this is just your average garage door type of lock. I think it’s a pretty good lock for most situations and would not hesitate to recommend.
