PERFECTION
Excellent! This rehydrate food is perfection. My dog likes it. It was easy to blend after rehydrating on the days when my pup has no appetite and requires syringe feeding especially the first weeks after diagnosis of Renal failure. Such a blessing to have found this NON PRESCRIPTION, INEXPENSIVE, QUALITY, VERSATILE, KIDNEY SUPPORT FOOD. Very pleased. Thank you for making this product.

Product is Powder!
I did not realize this product was powder NOT KIBBLE! And also it wint let me return the item unopened. My guy wont eat mush. Pretty expensive and wont make this mistake again! I just wish i could return it!!! Not happy

Good Dehydrated option not GI Friendly
My dog liked this and the texture is good but Dave’s seems not to be GI friendly. We switched to Square Pet Low Phosphorus instead.

Easy to Use Very Digestible
My dog is having liver and digestive issues. I’m looking for a lower protein food without needing a prescription. This food was good and easy to hydrate using a 1:1 method. Initially my dog was very interested in it. Then, like most foods I’ve tried, after 4-5 days she turned her nose up. I think that speaks to my picky dog, not to the quality of this food!!! Package arrived almost overnight. I really like the faux hook and loop closure; that’s so much easier the the zip lock kind. While the product did not work for my dog, I was very pleased with it and will recommend it.

Good solution for low protein + sodium
Not sure why it has a lot of bad reviews, unless people just don't realize it's not an actual kibble or comparable to canned wet food. It's meant to be a filler / topper. I needed a solution for my Italian greyhound who needs low sodium / protein for his kidneys but I didn't just want to give him dry kibble all the time and the wet stuff is so expensive and doesn't last long. With this I can mix in a little bit with water and the kibble and my Iggy gobbles it up. He loves it. Sometimes I'll mix in some carrots, green beans, or cauliflower too. It is a tad pricey but again better than price of the wet, canned, stuff.

Dave’s low phosphorus dog crumbs food
This is very good food. You need to add water to make a pate type food. It’s great for my 11 yr old Chihuahua who is getting kidney stress (hi normal BUN Creatinine serum levels) He is missing quite a few teeth so it’s easy for him to eat. It did take longer than 7 -10 days to transition just keep at it. He will be staying on this food.
